DR KOH BEE SZE (KRIS)
VETERINARY SURGEON
Master of Veterinary Medicine MVM
Bachelor of Veterinary Science BVSc
Bachelor of Business BBBA
Dr Koh has pursued a meat free dietary lifestyle since 2004, reflecting her commitment to be compassionate to all animals. Her late Miniature Schnauzer, Niki, who lived to almost 15 years old, inspired her to complete a grooming apprenticeship prior to her veterinary studies. The skills learnt proved extremely useful for short grooming sessions in the comfort of home when Niki's arthritis resulted in difficulty standing for prolonged periods when she entered her golden years.
Dr Koh completed her BVSc in 2009 and has a decade of clinical experience working with rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, cats and dogs. After more than 5 years in clinical practice, she spent 1 year as a lecturer and shared her experience with her students and taught Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Immunology and Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in a local polytechnic before returning back to clinical practice. She strongly believes in continuing education and was awarded her Masters in 2019 upon completing a dissertation on E. cuniculi in pet rabbits in Singapore. She also completed modules in Cardiorespiratory Medicine for Small Animal Veterinarians, Canine and Feline Gastroenterology, Canine and Feline Emergency Medicine, Ophthalmology and Pain Management.
Dr Koh is currently pursuing the IAAHPC Veterinary Certificate in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. She spent the entire COVID-19 circuit breaker period caring for her late super-senior cat, Tiggy who was >16 years. She tended to Tiggy's needs every 2 hours in her final days, which brought back memories of when Tiggy was first surrendered as a two week old kitten to a veterinary clinic and was bottle fed every 2 hours. Through this certification, Dr Koh hopes to become certified to provide a high level of hospice care with compassion for all her geriatric patients as they journey into their final stage of their lives.

DR NG WENG YAN
VETERINARY SURGEON
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science BVMS
Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Biology) BVSc
Dr Weng grew up dreaming of becoming a veterinarian to achieve her goal of helping the voiceless. Wanting to be close to home, she attended veterinary school at Murdoch University in Australia. Since graduating more than a decade ago, Dr Weng has worked in general practice in Australia and Singapore.
Dr Weng relishes the challenge of wildlife practice and has worked at Wildlife Reserves Singapore and Animals Asia's Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre. As a partner in a wildlife consultancy company, she provides veterinary advice to wildlife rescue centres around Asia. Currently, she is also in the midst of her dissertation on infectious diseases of pangolins as part of her Masters in Conservation Medicine.
Small mammals (especially rabbits and hamsters) have a special place in Dr Weng's heart, as she feels they are often under-appreciated. However, all animal friends, including feathery and scaley ones, are very welcome in her consultation room!
